On today’s episode of the Bendy Bodies Podcast, I spoke with Dr. Jessica Eccles about the stress of not being able to trust your own body.

For many people with joint hypermobility, symptoms feel unpredictable—➡️ rashes from pressure or vibration➡️ sudden heart rate spikes➡️ reactions to heat, meals, or posture changes

But when no one connects the dots, it feels random.

And when it feels random, it becomes anxiety-provoking.

That constant question - “what fresh hell is next?” - is often what patients are left carrying alone.

But these symptoms aren’t coming out of nowhere.
They’re part of how the body responds - and when you understand the “why,” the fear starts to shift.

Because knowledge doesn’t just explain symptoms - it gives you back a sense of control.

💬 Question for you: Have you ever had symptoms that felt completely random - until you learned what was actually causing them?
