Dr. Nancy Klimas is a distinguished Professor of Medicine and Chair of the Department of Clinical Immunology at Nova Southeastern University (NSU), where she leads the NSU Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine (INIM). This multidisciplinary research and clinical program adopts a systems biology approach to tackle complex medical conditions, focusing notably on Gulf War Illness (GWI), Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Fibromyalgia, and more recently, long COVID.
She is a leading authority in toxic injury incited chronic illness and post viral chronic illness research and clinical care, dedicating her efforts to unraveling the mediators s and developing effective treatments. Dr. Klimas' research has significantly advanced the scientific community's comprehension of ME/CFS and has provided hope to countless patients globally.
